I'm a painter and weaver based in Oakland, CA. My work is inspired by silliness, embarrassment, and guilty pleasures: moments that belie performances of coolness or detachment. A reverence for meticulous craft also plays a key role in my work. I hand-weave the canvases that I paint on, and I use hand-controlled methods on the floor loom to add patterns and text into my weavings. My latest undertaking is learning woodworking so I could create custom structures for my paintings.

I graduated with my MFA from the California College of the Arts in 2022. Prior to CCA, I studied Psychology and Gender, Women, & Sexuality Studies at the University of Washington.
